Members of the Bach Collegium Japan performed a program of Baroque music by Bach, Vivaldi and Handel at Carnegie Hall on Friday, November 6. WQXR morning host Jeff Spurgeon and John Hockenberry from WNYC's The Takeaway program co-hosted the broadcast. You may listen to the concert recording above.
The Bach Collegium Japan ensemble was founded by its musical director Masaaki Suzuki in 1990. The group is known for its period instrumentation and orchestral and choral baroque arrangements.
